Team Prime Time’s Mystery Art Box Challenge started in the fall of 2017. It’s a monthly, inter-site competition that includes all eight Team Prime Time after school programs. Each school receives one box of identical, mystery art supplies, one theme and one hour to create a masterpiece. The students must incorporate all items from the box.
In the fall of 2022, we welcomed ten schools from the Inglewood Unified School District to the Mystery Art Box Challenge.
*Functional Art- After the project, the art piece will have a second life and be used at the school site.
Voting Process: Each participating school gets to vote for the winner in a ‘blind judged’ vote.

September 2022 / Theme: Team Prime Time Welcome Sign
- Decorate the wooden easel frame with acrylic paint.
- Both sides of the easel must include the text: “Welcome to Team Prime Time!” All other design elements are up to you.
- Decorate the chalkboard side with chalk.
- Decorate the dry erase side with dry erase markers.
