Socal Honda Dealers and LA Galaxy Kick-Off Annual “Pass It Forward” Philanthropic Campaign With a Post-Practice Announcement at Stubhub Center
Join LA Galaxy Players Chandler Hoffman and James Riley to Raise Awareness for Children’s Institute Inc, Team Prime Time and Los Angeles Futbol Club Youth Soccer Academy.
Carson, Calif (Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2014) — LA Galaxy and Socal Honda dealers will announce the launch of the charitable social media-driven campaign, “Pass it Forward”, during a post-practice celebration taking place at StubHub Center in Carson, Calif on Wednesday, September 3.
Participants in the festivities will include LA Galaxy players Chandler Hoffman and James Riley, joined by the”Guys in Blue”. Additionally, representatives from CHildren’s Institute Inc, Team Prime Time, and the Los Angeles Futbol Club Youth Soccer Academy will also be in attendance.
“Pass it Forward” is designed to generate awareness by prompting fans to join virtual teams representing each charity and a Galaxy player. Participating players and their chosen charities are Jaime Penedo supporting the Children’s Institute Inc, Chandler Hoffman for Team Prime Time, and James Riley for the Los Angeles Futbol Club Youth Soccer Academy. Fans can enter to win prizes over the course of this six-week program by visiting lagalaxy.com/passitforward and showing their support to one of the three local charities and corresponding Galaxy player. Fans are encouraged to “Pass it Forward” by spreading the word through their social networks. There is also the option to make a financial donation on the webpage, but participants do not have to donate to be eligible for prizes. Prizes include tickets to upcoming Galaxy home games and team merchandise.
